The PFSA Foundation is proud to announce the success of its collaboration with ASA Foundation to help provide education to coaches in West Sumbawa, Indonesia. This project was part of a two-day scheme that ran from January 23rd to 28th 2023.
The mission of the project was to bring coaches and athletes together in order to create a more effective training environment. To achieve this goal, the two organizations worked together to share their knowledge and experience in soccer coaching. This included Football Coaching, Referee Development and League Management led by representatives from both PFSA and ASA.
The project also included an information session about the latest developments in soccer coaching technology, such as video analysis software and sports analytics tools. The representatives from both organizations also provided guidance on how coaches can effectively use these technologies to improve their performance. Additionally, they discussed the importance of maintaining good communication with players and parents during training sessions.
The event concluded with a live demonstration of soccer drills that can be used in practice sessions. This gave coaches an opportunity to see first-hand how some of the techniques presented during the event can be applied in real life scenarios. It was also a great opportunity for coaches to network with each other and create new relationships that will benefit them professionally moving forward.
In summary, this joint venture between PFSA Foundation and Asia Soccer Academy has been an overwhelming success, resulting in an increased level of understanding between both coaches and athletes regarding new technologies related to soccer coaching. Not only did this two-day scheme provide useful information on topics such as video analysis software and sports analytics tools, but it also allowed coaches to network with one another while observing live demonstrations of various drills used during practice sessions. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with ASA into the future!
