The PFSA certified membership is our top tier membership programme targeted at those achieving a minimum of Level 2 certified or five years experience as a professional football scout. It will give you the maximum benefits we have to offer, including free webinars, top discounts across both PFSA Scouting Courses and member benefits, to name a few.
Who can apply
If you are PFSA Level 2 or equivalent, you can apply for the PFSA certified membership; however, if you have five years’ experience as a professional football scout, you can also apply.
Don’t worry; if you have neither, you can still choose several add ons which will qualify for this membership.
What does this involve
The PFSA certified membership takes the associate membership to the next level. We are the leading provider of scouting and analysis courses in the UK and overseas, featured in some of the UK’s top news outlets and digital media, including the Guardian, Sun, Independent, BBC, Metro and the Training Ground Guru, to name a few. As a certified member, you will receive a unique gold membership card alongside the below-added benefits.
You will join some of the industry’s top professionals as members of the PFSA as we create a network of experts within scouting and analysis.
Webinars and Works shops
As a certified member, these will be completely free within the membership totalling over £300. We aim to run 9-12 webinars and workshops over 12 months with our expert tutor’s across talent identification, opposition analysis, technical scouting and performance analysis. These webinars and workshops will address all the latest trends, including how you can raise your profile and improve your reports.
Entry onto PFSA workshops usually costs around £25, meaning you will instantly save on this alone without considering the many other benefits.
Scouting Course Discounts
As a certified member, you will receive huge discounts across our whole portfolio, including our Level 1s, 2s and 3’s. As a traditional football scout, you may wish to explore the more technical side of the game and delve into technical scouting or venture into opposition analysis. Either way, you will be entitled to up to 30% off all Level 2 Scouting Courses, including the PFSA Scouting Programme.

The PFSA aim to work with some of the industry-leading software and applications on the market. All of which are used by professionals at the very top of their game. As a certified member, you will receive greater access than the association membership to companies such as SCISPORTS, AnalysisPro, KlipDraw, Nacsport, Comparisonator, Scoutpad and TacticPro, to name a few.
Featured Profiles
The PFSA has a directory of active football scouts on the PFSA Scouting Network. The page is one of the top-ranked on google under “Football Scouts”. As a PFSA member, you will be featured on this page to further network and connect with members online.
Identity card and Blue-Tick verification
As a PFSA certified member of the association, you will receive a unique PFSA certified identity card with a membership number and the certifications you have taken. You will also gain blue-tick verification status on your PFSA profile to indicate you are certified to the required standard.
Monthly newsletter by our tutors
Once a month, you will receive a newsletter from one of our many tutors or professional members with tips and advice on specific topics within their field. So whether it’s analysing a recent game from their viewpoint or giving hints and tips on writing your following report, they have it covered.
Career development and CV writing (Coming soon)
We expect to launch this feature in early 2022 exclusively to PFSA certified member scouts. It will consist of content tailored around career development and how best to network and connect with prospective clubs, involving CV writing expertise.
