The new Level 1 will focus on the art of talent detection as we explore the women’s game, from Equality and Inclusivity that cover pay gaps, media coverage disparity, social and cultural barriers, perceptions and stereotypes and sponsorship and funding to defining talent itself.
We are the only association offering a talent identification course exclusively within the women’s game designed and developed by experts currently engaged in elite-level football.
The new Level 1 is the first instalment in the new women’s talent identification series, with Level 2 due to arrive in December.

Understanding Talent Identification in the Women’s Game:

Defining Talent:
This module focuses on the complex task of defining talent in football. It delves into the various factors that contribute to a player’s potential, such as technical skills, physical attributes, mental resilience, and tactical understanding. By the end of this module, you’ll have a clear understanding of what makes a talented player and how to identify these traits in aspiring footballers.
Raw Ability in Female Footballers:
This module hones in on the raw abilities that set female footballers apart. It looks at natural talent, innate athleticism, and the unrefined skills that can be moulded into professional prowess. You’ll learn how to recognize these raw abilities and understand their significance in the development of a successful footballer.
Positional Selection Criteria:
In this module, you’ll gain an understanding of the specific criteria for selecting players for different positions on the field. From goalkeepers and defenders to midfielders and forwards, each role requires unique skills and attributes. You’ll learn how to assess players based on these criteria and make informed decisions about positional suitability.
