To apply for a Basic Disclosure, each individual is required to complete an application form and return it by post, attaching copies of identification;
1 x photo ID, e.g. Passport/Driving License
1 x proof of home address, e.g. utility bill/bank statement
An application form will be posted to you for you to complete and return. When Personnel Checks have received the completed application form it will then be processed which normally takes approximately 2-3 weeks.
It is standard practice for the Basic Disclosure Scotland Check certificate to be issued to the applicant’s home address. However, we can make arrangements for the certificates to be issued to an employer or separate address if required.
