Meet the team

Danielle Prescott
Danielle has over 12 years’ experience working within elite sport as both a performance analyst (PA) and professional football scout. She has been teaching for over ten years across numerous universities in the north west within the area of sports coaching and sports science. In addition to working full time within education, Danielle has always worked as a practitioner in both PA based roles for a variety of professional football clubs before securing her latest role with Manchester United and England as a professional scout working in talent identification from U12-23 age groups.

Overview
Duration:
Eight (8) hours of face-to-face (via Zoom) online learning sessions with additional time required for private study and completion of set workbook tasks. Online learning consists of two, 4-hour sessions
Teaching & Learning styles:
Online Zoom large group presentations by lead tutors, online Zoom breakout sessions and interactive tasks, tutor and student-led group discussions, workbook completion comprising player analysis tasks, multiple choice, short answer and matching questions, review exercises and private study.
Tutors:
Danielle Prescott – Manchester United and England National Scout. She is also a University Programme Lead specialising in Performance Analysis in Football.
Assessment:
The assessment for this course will consist of satisfactory completion of one course workbooks. The workbooks comprise additional course content, theory tasks, true/false, ranking, multiple choice and short answer questions, review and reflection tasks and private study.
